A Degree In Physical Education - Could A Vocation In Coaching PE Be A Great Job?
Remember P.E.? That class was the BOMB diggity back in the old days. Just like I am sure it still is for tons and tons of kids across America. It wasn't only a class where you did not have to do any work, but it was also a time to play games, physical activities and sports. I looked forward to P.E. like I looked forward to recess and lunch. Unquestionably the three most cool & relaxing classes of the day at school. Now, how do you suppose it would be to teach this class? Hey, the only thing you would need would need is a physical fitness education degree and a love for kids. Do you have these qualities?
I wasn't sure at first what I wanted to go to college for. I understood I needed a higher education to compete in the corporate world. But what would this entail precisely? In all honesty, I didn't know if I preferred a history degree or physical fitness education degree. How was I supposed to know anyway? I had never tried either job path. Okay, this is actually a great question. So if you're considering attending a four-year University to attain a physical education degree, then perhaps you wish to try your hand at it first. This is called job shadowing. You may already know that you loved P.E. back in the old school days when you were a child, but it can be somewhat different on the other end. As with the majority degrees, a physical education degree will take a specific amount of work and effort. Do not think for one second that you will be able to take shortcuts just because you are going to teach the little children. Maybe you did not know it, but teachers need their master's degrees now days. Possibly soon they'll need their PHDs like college college instructors. On the flip side of the coin, I think you can expect some serious fun to come from that physical education degree. I mean come on; we are not talking about biology or algebra here. P.E. is the fun class that children often look forward to. So if you're feeling the itch to be an educator & get involved with children's fitness, then perhaps a physical education degree is right up your alley.
